Many universities will probably recognize some of their activities in those described in the first 8 chapters. What I personally found very important is chapter 9, which shows how non-formal learning can become recognized in the same way as other formal learning activities. This book will be valuable to all higher education program developers. - Art in progress...: Sala de Exposiciones del Palacio de la Madraza (del 10 de febrero al 29 de abril de 2016)Chico López, José Miguel; Collados Alcaide, AntonioChico López parte en Art in Progress de planteamientos ya presentes en su obra anterior, aunque yendo más allá al indagar ahora en la sposibles relaciones que se establecen entre el espectador y la creación artística, como ocurre, por ejemplo, en la instalación I am what you want (2016). Compuesta por dibujos a medio hacer, elaborador con lápices de colores y rotuladores acrílicos de diferentes formatos tanto sobre papel como en las paredes de la sala, esta instalación, como las restantes mostradas en la sala de la Bóveda de La Madraza, en las que aparecen listones de madera, bastidores, aluminios y otros objetos y materiales, es un simulacro del taller del artista, cuyas fronteras son invadidas temporalmente por el espectador, que interrumpe el proceso de creación para desarrollar sus propias intuiciones, reflexiones y experiencias contemplativas.

- Mujeres y arquitectura: Mudéjares y cristianas en la construcciónDíez Jorge, María ElenaLa participación activa de las mujeres en la arquitectura a lo largo de la historia ha sido invisibilizada historiográficamente. Sin embargo, a través de la ciudad, de las casas y de los palacios, podemos descubrir cómo ellas estuvieron presentes, sacando a la luz espacios que ocuparon y estableciendo comparativas de las estrategias que hombres y mujeres desarrollaron en el mecenazgo arquitectónico. En este libro se abordan algunas de estas cuestiones a partir del estudio sobre las mujeres y la arquitectura en el largo proceso histórico-artístico del mudéjar, ya sea en el imaginario simbólico creado en un ciudad, en la presencia de hombres y mujeres a pie de obra o adentrándonos en las estancias que ocuparon las mujeres en espacios tan singulares como los palacios de la Alhambra. Aunque se pone la atención en las mujeres se hace en todo momento teniendo en cuenta los papeles, espacios y salarios asignados a los hombres. Es una propuesta para entender la historia de la arquitectura de manera más objetiva, integrando a hombres y mujeres.
